Reviews of our motorcycle trailers
Finally...I am the proud new owner of an Ironhorse! I didn't feel I could afford a brand new one, so I've been looking for a used one bike every day on eBay for almost 2-1/2 years...just part of my daily routine! I was almost convinced I'd never find one, so I decided to contact Julie at Ironhorse to tell her about my dilemma. She put my name on her list, and a few weeks ago she contacted me to tell me she heard about one in another state. She provided the seller's name and contact info, even though it removed her from earning her profit on the transaction. The seller and I made a deal!

I had to drive about 12 hours to get it, but that gave me a chance to see how it towed empty--amazing! When people talk about towing an Ironhorse, they say it's like towing nothing, and that's so true. It is so smooth and aerodynamic--everything I hoped it would be. Now I see why they are so hard to find. Once you buy an Ironhorse, you're set for life and you'll never sell it until you don't ride anymore. Even as a used trailer, it was priced just slightly less than a new one, which clearly demonstrates how well these trailers hold their value.

Julie went above and beyond in working with me and the seller to make this a seamless transaction. We both appreciate all her efforts.

Hi Julie....well, we're here in the Smokies, having a blast...the trailer pulled perfectly from Florida. Only one problem.....whenever we stop, a crowd seems to gather around the trailer pretty quickly, then we have to BS for awhile. Actually, it's fun talking about the trailer and seeing people's expression when we "pop the top".

Best regards, and thanks for taking care of us earlier this summer!

We did a considerable amount of research before deciding to contact Ironhorse Trailers. Once we made the call we were hooked. Julie was able to answer every question and we quickly decided that this was the trailer we had been searching for. When we took delivery of the trailer we discovered that the trailer had received some damage during transportation. Apparently some construction debris had kicked up and actually damaged the fiberglass in two areas of our new trailer. We were not happy to say the least. A quick call to Julie and we were already beginning to feel better. Julie had a driver on the road the next morning and he drove the 1000 miles to our home to make the needed repairs. Although we were skeptical of what the outcome of the repair would look like,we were pleasantly surprised when we saw it. We can't see where the repairs had been made and the trailer is as good as new again. This type of customer service goes way beyond what we've experienced in the past and we don't believe you could find a better company to deal with.

I am a new owner and have only owned my Ironhorse 2 bike flip-up for about a month. Within days of my purchase we took the trailer on a 1600 mile trip and I can only say it was awesome! Julie at Ironhose and Dean at Southwest Trailers were incredibly responsive, courteous and thorough in providing an overall rewarding experience. Having the trailer custom painted to match both my Trike and the towing vehicle has proven to be a rewarding decision. You cannot take the trailer anywhere without receiving admiring looks from everyone and a load of questions from many. Towing and loading the trailer are a breeze and the video on Ironhorse's website is no exaggeration. Once you measure the tie-downs for the correct length (which you only do the first time), loading the trailer takes less than 5 minutes and that's with 4 tie-downs for the Trike. You can pay less for a trailer from another manufacturer but I can guarantee you're going to get a lot less. What it comes down to is how much is your bike worth to you?

I purchased a Ironhorse Widebody from Ed and Julie, first off, GREAT people! Considerate, friendly, willing to work with me to make the decision, payment AND delivery the easiest for me. They came in on a Sunday to deliver the trailer and Ed spent quite a bit of time to make sure all was as it should be and I was ready for the road. Customer service = A+++
The trailer, AWESOME! I pull it with a 2007 Trailblazer SS and it tows wonderfully. The bikes fit great inside, lots of room, easy to load and strap down, fit and finish outstanding, I could go on and on. The trailer is gorgeous, couldn't be happier.
Sure, you could get a less expensive trailer, but I believe you get what you pay for. Ed and Julie made sure it was above that, so if you are on the fence about this, call them, visit them if you can. I promise you that you will want this trailer, and it will be worth every penny.
Thanks Ed and Julie, all the best!

Our trailer is great! It's two years old, we've towed it a bunch of miles collecting compliments all along the way, and everything about our Ironhorse is still perfect. Working with Julie and Ed at Ironhorse is a great experience...they are patient and kind, and they listen, help, advise well and make the whole transaction easy for their customers, so not only is the product wonderful but the experience of buying an Ironhorse is too. If you want to talk about owning an Ironhorse, or buying one, call Julie for my phone number and I'll be glad to tell you all about it!

These Ironhorse trailers blend functionality with style. I just purchased a 2011 single bike trailer and have to say I am totally pleased with the quality of the trailer, the answers and information Ironhorse staff provided, and the effortless sales transaction. I previously owned a 2000 Excalibur sport & business trailer and this Ironhorse is a whole new breed of quality. Thank you, again!

In 2004 I bought a new 2003 Iron Horse Trailer from their dealer in Wausau,Wi. After 1 trip to Sturgis,3 trips to Florida and several trips in the midwest(over 15000 miles hauling 2 bikes) I had a few minor problems. Checking their web site and seeing the factory is in Morrison,Tn I called to see if I could stop on the way back to Wisconsin from Florida and have them take a look and maybe leave the trailer with them to have it fixed.I spoke with Julie and Ed the owners and they said if I could be there by noon on Friday they could take care of my problems. When my wife and I arrived I was told to "pull around the back" and they would take care of it right away. I got a tour, explained my concerns and they got started. They said be back at 3:30 and it would be done. Iron Horse has gone through several model upgrades since mine was built and they added several of them to my trailer. When we got back at 3:30 the work was done and when I asked what the damages were Julie told me "no charge" I about s--t my pants!! It must have taken 2 workers most of the afternoon to do the work. Long story short I love my trailer. It tows like a dream and it always gets great comments. But the new model is even better so I had to have one. They are about 60 days behind but mine will be ready the end of June.Their great product and excellent customer service convinced me to lay out $9600 for a loaded, custom painted 2 bike flip up. I can't wait!! ( PS my old trailer is for sale)
