Why should I spend the extra money to buy this trailer instead of a “box” trailer?
First, for every $100 you spend for gas pulling a box trailer, you’ll only spend $70-$80 to tow one of ours—besides being able to tow with a smaller vehicle and less wear and tear. Second, not only will you be able to tow as fast as you want to, crosswinds won’t buffet you about or even off the road. Third, you’ll get years of satisfaction from owning a useful conversation piece with timeless good looks rather than metal box likely to quickly become an eyesore.

Can I buy directly from the factory?
If there’s not a dealer near you, buying from the factory may well be your best option, but there is no cost advantage to bypassing your local dealer. Although we occasionally run specials on E-bay, we NEVER discount from our MSRP.

What about financing?
Some of our dealers have financing available for local buyers. If there is no dealer nearby and you need financing, call us. We have a company that provides financing for our trailers at very reasonable rates and for varying lengths of time.

Does Ironhorse carry used trailers?
Although some of our dealers occasionally have a used trailer, Ironhorse is a manufacturer so we don't have a retail trailer lot. However, we occasionally find ourselves with a used trailer—so ask away, but it’s unlikely.

Does Ironhorse take trade-ins?
Although some of our dealers take trade-ins, it is not a common practice for us. But ask anyway. We’d hate to see being unable to get rid of another trailer stop you from buying one of ours.

Do I have to pay Tennessee sales tax if I buy from the factory?
Only if you are a Tennessee resident or not otherwise qualified to sign an affidavit committing to remove the trailer from Tennessee within 24 hours of taking ownership.
